Nigeria Coach Worried About Conversion Rate Of Chelsea, Leicester, Watford Strikers Ahead Zambia Tie
Super Eagles Franco-German coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that he is worried about his goal-shy strikers in the wake of the national team’s marginal 1-0 victory over Tanzania on Saturday.

Indeed, the strikers Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa, fluffed several chances until the 78th minute when Iheanacho, who played as an attacking midfielder, unleashed a screamer from distance.

“I am happy we played well and created so many chances. What we have to improve on is how to convert those chances,” Rohr said in his post match comments, according to thenff.com.

The former Bayern Munich defender has less than a month to change his tactics attacking-wise, ahead of the World Cup qualifier with Zambia in the first week of October.

The Super Eagles averaged 0.5 goals per game during the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
