Moses One Assist Short Of Equaling Yakubu EPL Assists Record For Nigerian Player; Ighalo Is Tenth

Chelsea star Victor Moses is on course to break Yakubu Aiyegbeni’s assists record for a Nigerian player in the Premier League.
The winger has notched 13 helpers cumulatively for the teams he has represented ahead of Friday night’s clash between Chelsea and Liverpool, one short of Yakubu’s record.
Moses is in second spot alongside Nwanwko Kanu (ex-Arsenal), Victor Anichebe (Sunderland) and Peter Odemwingie(ex-West Brom).
The 25-year-old has made 160 appearances in the English top-flight to date, scoring 15 goals from 67 shots on target.
Victor Moses has never received a red card since he debuted in the Premier League.
