Luiz Antônio Ribeiro , coach of Brazil’s Women’s Under-17 team, has announced a 21-player roster for the upcoming World Cup which will take place in Jordan September 30 to October 21

The squad is composed of 3 goalkeepers, 3 central defenders, 2 fullbacks, 7 midfielders and 6 strikers, including the prolific Ceilândia star Nycole Sobrinho.

The South Americans will begin Group C play on October 1 when they tackle African powerhouse Nigeria at the King Abdullah Stadium, Amman.

The Brazilian girls, who arrived in Jordan on Sunday, will face Cameroon on September 25 to prepare the team for the clash with the Flamingos, three days after they take on Jordan in another friendly.
