Injured Chelsea Winger Moses, Watford Starlet Success Replaced In Nigeria Squad
Published: October 03, 2016
Through official sources, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that English-based duo Isaac Success and Victor Moses have pulled out of the Super Eagles squad ahead of the forthcoming World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
As exclusively reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Watford striker Success played through the pain barrier in the closing minutes of his side’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last weekend after suffering a knee injury.
On the other hand, Moses sustained a hamstring injury in Chelsea’s tie with Hull City, effectively ruling him out of the battle of Ndola.
The Super Eagles coach and NFF have moved quickly to hand late call-ups to two offensive players in the shape of Wikki Tourist striker Godwin Obaje and Enugu Rangers star Chisom Egbuchulam as replacements.
