Four players of Nigerian descent were in action for England U18s in their 2-1 win over Sweden in an international friendly staged at Tibblevallen, Täby on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea midfielder Tariq Uwakwe now has an appearance under his belt for England after starting the game, and he was joined in the starting XI by Ashinme Kigbu (Manchester City), Tolaji Bola (Arsenal) and Dennis Adeniran (Fulham).

First half goals from Mason Mount and Martell Taylor-Crossdale helped England to register a win against the Scandinavians after losing their first game two days ago.

Uwakwe, 16, has enjoyed a rapid rise this season, scoring his first goal for the youth team of the Blues and was handed his first invitation to England youth teams.
