Chelsea Winger Moses, Watford Young Star Success On The Road To Recovery
Published: October 11, 2016Chelsea winger Victor Moses and Watford young sensation Isaac Success could play for their respective clubs in the Premier League this weekend having resumed light training.
Both players had to pull out of the Nigeria squad because of injuries sustained just before they were due to fly out to Abuja to join the national team, ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
“Moses and Success are nearing full fitness, ” a top source, who pleaded for anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It was pointless for both players to travel to Nigeria and get ticket refunds because they were not going to play the game against Zambia due to injury. We know the Federation has financial constraints.
“It is unclear if they will feature for their clubs this weekend because the clubs are trying to play safe and don’t want it to seem that they connived with the players. ”
This season, Victor Moses has played 6 games for the Blues in the English top-flight, while Success has made five appearances off the bench for the Hornets.
