Ex-Newcastle Star Martins Labelled One Of The Best Players In Africa

Beijing BG star Leke James has reserved special praise for Obafemi Martins, labeling the Nigeria international one of the best players in Africa.
Both strikers faced off in a friendly between Shanghai Shenhua and Beijing BG on Sunday, with the Chinese Super League side winning 1-0.
James posted on social media with an accompanying picture : “After the friendly game against one of Africa’s best. More blessings big bro. #Obagoal #Legend #egbontohsure #Naija 🇳🇬🇳🇬”.
While on the payroll of Inter Milan, Obafemi Martins was named CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year in 2003 and 2004.
The FC Ebedei product has played for teams in Italy, England, Spain, United States, Russia and Germany.
