Etebo Applies For UK Visa Ahead Of Senegal Friendly, Players That Will Not Apply Revealed
Published: March 04, 2017
CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is getting set for the Super Eagles international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso later this month.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that the Dream Team VI sensation will send his visa application to the British Consulate in Lisbon, Portugal early next week.
In September 2016, Etebo had pulled out of the World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola because of the absence of a valid traveling document.
Gent winger Moses Simon recently visited London for his team’s Europa League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur and does not need to apply again for a traveling document.
Kenneth Omeruo was granted a five-year work permit by the Home Office in 2013, meaning he won’t need a visa before returning to London.
Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, Wilfred Ndidi, strikers Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success, Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi have no excuse not to show up at the Hive Stadium because they are based in England.
The London-based attackers have British passports and have played for England youth teams.
