One of the goal scored by Fanendo Adi in Portland Timbers’s 5-1 rout of Minnesota United is in the running to be named the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for the opening round of matches in the American top-flight.
The Nigerian showed his class when his slick dribble led to a brace in the closing minutes of the encounter at Providence Park.
Strikes from Romell Quioto (Houston Dynamo), Anibal Godoy (San Jose Earthquakes), Christian Ramirez (Minnesota United) and Yamil Asad (Atlanta United) have also been nominated for the Goal of the Week accolade.
