In-Form Blues Striker Bayo Misses Out On League Two Player Of The Month Award

Adebayo Akinfenwa has missed out on the League Two Player of the Month award for February, with the EFL announcing Stevenage striker Matt Godden as the winner on Friday morning.
The Wycombe Wanderers frontman had been nominated for the accolade alongside Matt Clarke (Portsmouth), Matty Kennedy (Plymouth Argyle) and Matt Godden.
Bayo excelled in February for the Blues, scoring five goals in total against Crewe, Carlisle, Crawley and Accrington (two).
The 34-year-old scored more goals from open play than anyone else in League 2 last month.
A product of Watford, Akinfenwa numbers Northampton Town, Swansea City, Gillingham abd AFC Wimbledon among his former clubs.
