Published: March 15, 2017
Wilfred Ndidi has shared his thoughts and impressions on Leicester City
qualifying for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Against all odds, the Premier League champions defeated Sevilla 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night, with their Nigerian defensive midfielder working a full shift.
“We gave it everything we had, we left everything out there. What a Great support from the fans... #nextround #ucl #lcfcð #thankyouLord, ” tweeted the Leicester City number 25.
The encounter against the current Europa League winners was Ndidi’s 14th appearance in a European competition this term since his debut versus Buducnost Podgorica in July 2016.
The former Racing Genk star will be hoping to play one more game for the Foxes before linking up with the Nigeria squad in London ahead of their international friendlies with Senegal and Burkina Faso.
