Super Eagles Stop GK Ezenwa From Playing Against El Kanemi, Off To London Sunday
Published: March 17, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that FC Ifeanyi Ubah netminder Ikechukwu Ezenwa might not be in between the pipes when the Nnewi-based side take on El-Kanemi Warriors in the Nigerian Professional Football League on Sunday, March 19.
A top source close to the Nigeria Football Federation has informed this website that Ezenwa and other home-based Nigerian contingent are expected to jet off to London on Sunday, about the same time the Anambra Warriors will be facing their opponents from the North.
However, unconfirmed reports suggest that the NFF may change the departure date of the home-based traveling party to Tuesday, March 21 because of financial constraints.
The foreign-based invitees, 24 of them in total, are expected to arrive at Crowne Plaza Hotel Ealing as from 1300 hours on Monday.
Super Eagles coach Rohr will begin running the rule over the invited players on the same day.
