Nigeria Most Used Player Ndidi Poised To Play 50th Game Of Season Vs Senegal, Hits Camp Monday
Published: March 18, 2017
Leicester City defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will link up with the Nigerian national team at their get-together in London on Monday, March 20, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed.
The former Racing Genk star has received a call-up to the Super Eagles, ahead of their international friendlies with Senegal and Burkina Faso at the Hive Stadium.
Ndidi already has six caps to his name since making his international debut against Democratic Republic of Congo in October 2015.
The 20-year-old has always been invited to the senior national team since that maiden appearance in Belgium, apart from the Nations Cup qualifier versus Egypt around this time last year.
Should he feature for the Foxes in their Premier League game with West Ham on Saturday as you would expect, the Nath Boys product will rack up 50 appearances for club and country this season if he plays against Senegal.
Ndidi has recorded 45 appearances cumulatively for Genk and Leicester, and was involved in the Super Eagles games against Tanzania, Zambia and Algeria.
