Oghenekaro Etebo Hit By Visa Hitch Ahead Of Senegal Friendly
Published: March 19, 2017
CD Feirense star Oghenekaro Etebo has been hit by a visa hitch ahead of his proposed trip to London for the national team’s international friendly games with Senegal and Burkina Faso, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The Nigeria U23 poster boy was hoping to be issued the traveling document sometime last week which didn’t happen, having made the trip to Madrid, Spain to apply for an endorsement on his passport.
Etebo is hoping that he will be sent the visa the first working day after the weekend, and if that is not the case he is certain to miss the Super Eagles first workout at the Hive Stadium training ground.
Regarding Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi, there is still no good news as he wasn’t granted a visa yet as at the close of business on Friday, March 17.
The goalie has been invited again to the national team after deputizing for Carl Ikeme against Algeria in November 2016.
