Friday Refuses To Criticize Defensive Skills Of Ebuehi Despite AZ Scoring Four Goals
Published: March 20, 2017AZ Alkmaar striker Fred Friday has refused to criticize the defensive skills of new Super Eagles invitee Tyronne Ebuehi despite his team scoring four goals without reply in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
With Ebuehi occupying the right wing-back role, Friday wrapped up the scoring for AZ on the hour mark to take his tally to four goals in his last five games in the Dutch top-flight.
“I am happy I scored today. It wasn’t an easy game, at least we won convincingly.
“Tyronne Ebuehi? He is a good player, that’s it, ” Friday told allnigeriasoccer.com on Sunday evening.
Yesterday’s win took AZ to fifth on the table with 41 points, while ADO Den Haag are second from bottom with seven games yet to be decided in the regular season.
