Two Nigerian Strikers On Target To Help Watford Cruise To Win
Published: March 20, 2017
Waford Ladies recorded a resounding 6-0 win over MK Dons Ladies in a friendly at the Harefield academy on Sunday morning.
On 36 minutes, the Golden Girls were three goals up courtesy of Rinsola Babajide, who guided the ball past the goalkeeper, before Adekite Fatuga-Dada curled the ball into the bottom corner to increase the lead shortly after the restart.
Watford Ladies did not take their foot off the gas despite their four-goal advantage, with Babajide making it five when she lifted the ball over the goalkeeper.
And the prolific England U19 international was denied a hat-trick after she hit the woodwork towards the midway stage of the second half.
Adekite Fatuga-Dada joined Watford in August 2015 from Arsenal while Babajide was snapped up this year from Millwall Lionesses.
