Unlike Chelsea, Watford Will Release Half-Fit Success To Nigerian Federation
Published: March 20, 2017Isaac Success might be struggling with match fitness but that won’t stop Watford from releasing him to the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of international friendlies with Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The Hornets manager Walter Mazzarri stated in the wake of his team’s 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League that the ex-Golden Eaglets star needs to find his fitness.
Through their official website, Watford have confirmed that Success is in line to make his senior debut for Nigeria within the next one week.
“Isaac Success could make his senior international debut for Nigeria after being picked for the Super Eagles’ friendlies with Senegal and Burkina Faso.
“The winger has previously represented his country at youth level, ” Watford stated.
Premier League pacesetters Chelsea have written to the Nigeria Football Federation that their wing-back Victor Moses is nursing an injury and might not participate in the friendlies.
