NFF Explain Why Kingsley Madu, Watford Loanee Agbo Have Not Reported For International Duty
Published: March 22, 2017
Zulte Waregem wing-back Kingsley Madu and Watford loanee Uche Agbo are both doubtful for the international friendly games with Senegal and Burkina Faso.
And it is not of their own making that the two 21-year-olds have not showed up at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in London.
The Nigeria Football Federation have explained via their official webpage that Madu and Agbo have been delayed by a visa hitch.
Goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, defenders Musa Mohammed and Elderson Echiejile were in the same boat as Madu and Agbo, but have now sorted out their paperwork.
As for Oghenekaro Etebo, there is nothing new regarding his application for a visa at the British Embassy in Madrid.
Twenty four players are expected to prosecute the friendly matches, all things being equal, following the late withdrawal of Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses, who is being treated for an injury.
