Oghenekaro Etebo Misses Super Eagles Last Workout After Arrival In London
Published: March 22, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CD Feirense star Oghenekaro Etebo is now available for selection for Thursday night’s international friendly between Nigeria and Senegal at the Hive Stadium.
The Nigeria U23 sensation showed up at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at about 2000 hours on Wednesday.
Etebo’s initial plan was to participate in the team’s final training session, with the plane touching down at Gatwick Airport at about 1620 hours local time, but was disappointed he was delayed due to airport formalities and intracity transportation.
The invited players still being expected are Musa Mohammed, Kingsley Madu, Uche Agbo and Daniel Akpeyi, who left South Africa on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach Rohr has a big decision to make in the coming hours, regarding who will be in goal against Senegal, as Carl Ikeme is ill and Akpeyi and Ezenwa missed the two workouts before the game.
