International Round-Up : Arsenal Talent Bola Features In England Win, Chelsea Starlet Uwakwe Missing
Published: March 23, 2017Tolaji Bola was in action for England U18s squad in their 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in an international friendly staged at Aspire Sports Village, Doha, Qatar on Wednesday evening.
The Arsenal defender of Nigerian descent was introduced with three minutes left on the clock, and assisted goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe to post a shutout in the closing minutes of the encounter.
The highly-rated Chelsea midfielder Tariq Uwakwe was not in the Young Lions 18-man squad, and would have made his third appearance for England at that level if he had featured.
Fulham teen sensation Dennis Adeniran was not in the traveling party to Qatar due to injury.
Neil Dewsnip’s side return to action on Friday when they face Qatar at the same venue.
