Published: March 25, 2017
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has explained why Hannover talent Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee did not make his international debut against Senegal on Thursday night.
From the word go, Bazee’s availability for the international fixtures was doubtful because of a knee injury and Rohr confirmed as much that he was unable to participate in full training upon his arrival in London.
“Noah came with a knee injury and could not train together with the team so far, ” Rohr told Hannoversche Allgemeine.
“He will be treated by us and maybe he can play on Monday. ”
The Super Eagles next friendly against Burkina Faso has been cancelled, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed, and that means Noah Bazee will be hoping to play his first game for the national team in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June.
