Chelsea Prospect Ola Aina, QPR Striker Eze Pictured In Super Eagles Kit Ahead Of Debut
Published: March 27, 2017
Chelsea defender Ola Aina has given the biggest hint yet that he has committed his international future at senior level to the Super Eagles of Nigeria and not England’s Three Lions.
Team Nigeria UK supremo David Doherty, who has been working behind the scenes for about a year to make the ex-England U20 international pledge his future to Nigeria, has posted via social media a picture of the right back wearing a Super Eagles training kit.
Also captured on camera were Arsenal wonderkid Alex Iwobi and Queens Park Rangers striker Eberechi Eze, and the three players were in a joyous mood.
Aina’s dad and Iwobi Senior have been friends since way back and both of them also played a key role in Ola Aina’s decision to play for the three-time African champions.
Eberechi Eze, 18, is likely to miss Queens Park Rangers U23s clash with Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday night because he is with the Nigerian national team.
