Talented Chelsea Defender Aina Impresses Super Eagles Stars In First Training Session
Published: March 27, 2017
Chelsea right wing-back Ola Aina is a bonafide national team material, if the stories from the Super Eagles stars in camp are anything to go by.
The ex-England U20 international had his first training session with the Nigerian national team on Sunday, with his proud father watching from the sidelines.
“Ola Aina trained with us on Sunday, he is a very good player. We are happy he is here with us and he is a good player for the Super Eagles, ” a player in camp told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr was known to be in the hunt for a typical right back ahead of his team’s first competitive game of 2017, an African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June, and the German has found two, Ebuehi and Aina.
Aina will be further assessed by Rohr on Monday evening at the Hive Stadium, when the Super Eagles take part in a practice game among themselves.
