Hannover Send Message To Arsenal To Back Off With Hefty Release Clause In Bazee's New Contract
Published: April 19, 2017
The headline news before Hannover 96 faced off with Eintracht Braunschweig in the derby on Saturday was the extension of Noah Bazee's contract.
Hannover President Martin Kind has stated that any club interested in prising away the striker will have to pay a hefty release clause, according to Sportbuzzer.
Though a departure from the club in the summer has been ruled out, the HDI-Arena outfit have stressed that there are exit clauses, but only under certain conditions, and they are very expensive.
Bazee has enjoyed a fantastic season with Hannover, though he has struggled with hip and knee injuries, contributing to 7 goals from 13 appearances in the 2 Bundesliga.
It has been claimed that Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach were in pursuit of the Super Eagles hopeful before he committed his future to Hannover until the summer of 2021.
