Portland Timbers Ace Fanendo Adi Suspended And Fined By MLS Disciplinary Committee

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Fanendo Adi for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount following the incident that occurred in his last game for Portland Timbers.
In the 26th minute of the match against Sporting Kansas City, the Nigerian used violent conduct against on opposing player.
Thus, the former FC Copenhagen star will not be available for selection when Portland Timbers trade tackles with Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, April 22.
Portland Timbers coach Caleb Porter was disappointed in the decision of Major League Soccer, stating : ''I was surprised there wasn’t another player on the other team to get a suspension, that’s what I’ll say.''
