Ex-Arsenal Hero Kanu, Chelsea & Spurs Nigerian Stars Pay Tribute To Ehiogu

A number of Nigerian stars have taken to social media to offer their condolences in the wake of the passing away of Tottenham Hotspur U23 coach Ugo Ehiogu.
The ex-Middlesbrough defender suffered a cardiac arrest at Spurs Training Centre yesterday before being transferred to hospital, where he passed away in the early hours of this morning.
Ex Arsenal striker Kanu Nwankwo, who had wished Ehiogu a speedy recovery on Thursday, tweeted : ''R.I.P Ugo what a sad news.''
Chelsea attacker Eniola Aluko said : ''Deepest condolences to Ugo's family. Only 3 weeks ago I spoke to him in good spirits about his coaching at Spurs. Rest in peace😢''
England U20 star Josh Onomah received coaching from Ehiogu before he was promoted to Tottenham's first team, and the attacking midfielder has vowed to make him proud, tweeting : ''Going to make you proud big man ❤🌹🙏🏾''
Meanwhile, Spurs have announced that all academy matches over the weekend have been cancelled, and the PL2 match at Manchester United on Monday has been postponed.
