Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes will not represent England U17s at the forthcoming 2017 UEFA European U17 Championship finals in Croatia.
Gomes was one of the five midfielders initially named to the 18-man squad list on Friday morning by Head Coach Steve Cooper.
The 16-year-old Gomes has confirmed himself that he has withdraw from the squad because he has not fully recovered from an injury he picked up in training before the Dallas Cup.
On Sunday, he gave a testimony that he has been healed after Nigerian pastor TB Joshua prayed for him when he visited the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Timothy Eyoma is the only player of Nigerian descent included in England U17 roster.
