Talented Manchester City Midfielder, Who Wants To Play For Nigeria, Continues To Sparkle
Published: April 30, 2017
Talented Manchester City midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru continues to impress for Manchester City after finding the net for the U18s in their 1-1 draw with West Ham in the U18 Premier League on Saturday.
On 34 minutes, Dele-Bashiru gave the visitors a one-goal lead when he fired past Forde in the West Ham goal.
This season, the 17-year-old has registered his name on the scoresheet in league games against Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland and Chelsea, and was one of the scorers that helped City qualify for the FA Youth Cup final.
Dele-Bashiru joined Man City at the age of six and has been offered a professional contract, a reward for his imperious displays for their youth teams.
Though the teenager has represented England at U16 level, he hopes to make his senior debut for Nigeria (or England) in the next five years.
