Danish Superliga outfit FC Midtjylland have handed a trial to the leading scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Stephen Odey, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The Mountain of Fire striker was previously linked with a transfer to FC Copenhagen, only for him to surface in Denmark for trials with FC Midtjylland.
The coaching staff at FCM ran the rule over the 19-year-old Odey in a reserve team fixture between FCM and FCK on Monday, May 1.
He impressed in the test match against FCK and had a couple of opportunities to score in the first half.
Teams based in Scotland, Belgium, France and Sweden are monitoring the situation of Odey ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.
