MFM Issue 24-Hour Ultimatum: Midtjylland Will Be Reported To Fifa For Tapping Up Odey If....
Published: May 04, 2017
Mountain of Fire FC have threatened to report FC Midtjylland to Fifa if their striker Stephen Odey does not return to Nigeria before Friday.
The Nigeria Professional Football League outfit have claimed that Odey traveled to Denmark without their permission and they must be contacted before the Danish club can let the attacker train and play reserve matches.
''We expect Odey to be back in Nigeria before Friday, or we will report FC Midtjylland to FIFA,'' MFM Media Officer Olawale Quadry told tipsbladet.dk.
''Odey himself traveled to Midtjylland to look at the conditions, but as we understand it, they would see him (in training, ed.). We have not allowed this and now they are trying to cheat MFM FC.''
MFM media officer revealed that the club has not been in contact with FC Midtjylland and does not intend to come into contact with the Danish club but that the threat of a report to FIFA is real and that Odey must be back in Nigeria before Friday, otherwise the Danish club will be reported.
