Official : Juventus Announce Signing Of Nigerian-Born Striker From Chelsea
Published: June 06, 2018Through a statement on their official website, Italian powerhouse Juventus have announced the signing of Nigerian-born striker Eniola Aluko who last represented FA WSL Champions Chelsea FC Women.
The England international has signed with the Bianconere for the 2018-2019 season.
Prior to her second spell with Chelsea, she turned out for American clubs Saint Louis Athletica, Atlanta Beat and Sky Blue FC, and also lists Birmingham City Ladies and Charlton Athletic Ladies among her former clubs.
Shortly after the transfer was completed, Aluko tweeted : ''Delighted & honoured to join @JuventusFCWomen- Italian champions, a club with an overwhelming history, ambition and success.
''So proud to hold the shirt worn by an endless list of legends. I can't wait to get started!! ''
Eniola Aluko was the top scorer of the 2016 FA WSL season with nine goals in 16 matches.
