'Dennis the Nigerian Ronaldo' - Fans React To Striker's Brace Vs Real Madrid And Iconic Celebration
Published: October 01, 2019
Emmanuel Dennis was Club Brugge's standout player during their 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in one of Tuesday's Champions League fixtures.
The 21-year-old striker broke the deadlock in the ninth minute of the encounter when he put the ball past Thibaut Courtois, though he had to wait for a while before celebrating as VAR was called to action.
The Nigeria international scored his second goal before half time as he bundled home the ball in the 39th minute.
He surprised the Santiago Bernabeu fans as he mimicked the Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.
However, Madrid pulled one back via Sergio Ramos in the 55th minute, and they equalized in the 85th minute via Casemiro's goal as it ended in another stalemate.
Though Dennis was substituted for Openda in the 71st minute, his brace and his goal celebration are currently the trending topics on social media.
