Bayern Munich: DAVID ALABA Not Leaving For Barcelona
Published: May 15, 2012Wing back David Alaba has denied speculations in the media linking him with a summer exit from UEFA Champions League finalists Bayern Munich.
Barcelona are searching for a left back as replacement for Frenchman Eric Abidal, and according to reports have the Austrian-Nigerian super-teen on their wishlist.
''No this is not an issue. I will next season remain with Bayern Munich,'' says Alaba.
Bayern's supremo Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned European heavyweights Barcelona that Alaba is not for sale.
He said: ''It was a big decision by Jupp Heynckes (to play Alaba this season, ed). Many clubs in Europe are envious.
"I have a good friendship with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell and if he asks for the player my answer would be 'no'."
