Exclusive: Floriana In Pole Position For ONOME SODJE
Published: May 17, 2012
According to leaks gathered by our Editorial staff, Maltese Premier League club Floriana are in pole position to land the Anglo-Nigerian striker Onome Sodje.
On the back of a successful season with the Greens, the club's hierarchy are interested in renewing Sodje's contract which expired at the end of the season. Negotiations with the forward on a new deal started immediately the season ended.
Some unnamed clubs in the Island Nation and overseas have made enquiries on the former Oxford United man, so Floriana must act fast before other interested clubs poach the striker.
Onome Sodje averaged a goal every two games with Floriana in the 2011 - 2012 season.
