Rosenborg Offer Trials To 'New OBAFEMI MARTINS'
Published: June 15, 2012Enugu Rangers striker Chikeluba Francis Ofoedu starts tests with Norway's most successful club Rosenborg on Monday, the official website has disclosed.
The 20-year-old, who can also play in midfield, has taken the Nigeria Premier League by storm. He is Enugu Rangers' top scorer in the league.
''We have received a recommendation on this player and basically he will train with us for two weeks. So we'll see how it goes,'' says sports manager Erik Hoftun to RBK.no.
In January 2012, Ofoedu tested with Tunisian giants Esperance, but was not offered a deal at the end of trials.
Ofoedu has the same playing style with Rubin Kazan forward Obafemi Martins.
