Zambian international Jacob Mulenga yesterday only lasted 34 minutesin FC Utretch’s 1 – 1 away draw against Heracles FC.
Mulenga who has been instrumental in the Dutch side’s campaign this season since his return from injury started the game but sustained an injury on his calf which has been described as a minor concern.
Mulenga only returned from injury this season after a 9 month lay-off owing to a knee injury which ruled him out of action and consequently missed the 2012 AFCON at which Zambia triumphed.
The injury prone striker marked his return to the national team with a 45 minute satisfactory display against South Africa and he is seen as the striker to lead the line for the African Champions at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in South Africa.
