Wolverhampton Wanderers' woes have been compounded after losing 1-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, leaving Nuno Espirito Santo's side without a win in eight Premier League matches.
The Eagles returned to winning ways thanks to Eberechi Eze's thumping finish in the second half.
The England U21 international trapped the ball and hit a left-footed strike past Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Rui Patrício on the hour mark.
Speaking on Premier League Productions shortly after the game, former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was impressed by the way Eze took his goal, adding that the attacking midfielder has been in brilliant form in recent weeks.
"He's a real talent, he has been in really good form in recent weeks. First of all the side step, the body swerve to deceive the defender and then the finish with his left foot," Howe said on Eze's goal.
"We didn't think this will be a high-scoring game, really tight match but decided by a moment of quality."
In a tough and demanding league, the Nigerian
Federation target has contributed to five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in
his last thirteen matches for Crystal Palace.
