Football League Championship side Brighton &amp; Hove Albion FC have announced the signing of Canada international of Nigerian descent Sam Adekugbe on loan from MLS outfit Vancouver Whitecaps.<br /><br />The defender has penned a deal that will keep him at the Seagulls until the end of next season, that is June 30, 2016, following a successful trial. <br /><br />The London-born fullback represented the youth teams of AFC Clayton, Calgary Foothills Saints and Calgary Foothills Rapids prior to signing a professional contract with Vancouver Whitecaps in 2013.<br /><br />Adekugbe was part of the Canadian youth teams before he made his competitive debut for The Reds in a World Cup qualifier against Belize. <br /><br />He will begin the 2016-2017 season with the U21s squad.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : mlssoccer.com<br />
