Super Eagles interim coach Samson Siasia was disappointed that the national team crashed out of the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers following their 1-0 loss to Egypt and pointed out that the sudden withdrawal of Chad contributed to their exit.<br /><br />Reflecting on the scoreline, the former Nantes striker reckons that the Super Eagles ought to have picked at least a point from the contest but were unlucky, with Chelsea loanee Victor Moses hitting the post with a powerful shot in the closing minutes.<br /><br />&ldquo;This is sad but I have to accept the situation, there was a chance for a draw against Egypt, the chance from Victor Moses but luck was not on our side,&rdquo; Siasia told reporters at Tuesday night&rsquo;s press conference.<br /><br />Al Ahly midfielder Ramadan Sobhi netted the game-winner in the 65th minute to put Egypt on the brink of qualification.<br /><br />The Nigeria delegation arrived from Alexandria on Wednesday morning.<b><br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br /><br /></b>Photo Credit : thenff.com <br /><br /><br /><br />
