Kaye Furo, the son of former Super Eagles centre-back Iyenemi Furo, has agreed a move to English Premier League side Brentford, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Iyenemi Furo was a key member of the Super Eagles squad at the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Nigeria and Ghana, starting five of the six matches contested by the national team/

A forward by trade, Furo makes the switch after attracting interest from several top European clubs, including German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, before Brentford moved decisively to secure his signature from Belgian giants Club Brugge.

It is reported that the deal is valued at around €10 million, with additional performance-related add-ons and a sell-on clause included in the agreement.

Meanwhile, Furo is expected to undergo a medical with Brentford to finalise the transfer ahead of the second half of the season.

The Bees see his arrival as a reinforcement of their attacking options, with the youngster expected to provide depth and competition in the forward line, particularly alongside Brazilian striker Igor Thiago.

Despite his tender age, Furo has already made his mark at Club Brugge, featuring five times for the senior team in the league this season and scoring once.

Internationally, he has represented Belgium at various youth levels; however, he remains eligible to play for Nigeria, having not yet earned a cap for the Belgian senior national team, leaving the door open for a future Super Eagles call-up.
