Spurs Midfielder Josh Onomah Confident England Can Repeat Feat

England U19 international Josh Onomah is confident that the Young Lions can win the European Under-19 Championship in Germany, adding that they prepared well for the competition.<br /><br />The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder starred at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, helping England to win the title, and nine players that made the squad list for the tourney in Malta are in Germany.<br /><br />&ldquo;Our preparation for this tournament has been right, we&rsquo;ve trained together a lot and I feel like we&rsquo;re really a team, &rdquo; Onomah said to tottenhamhotspur.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve got a lot of winners and leaders in our group and I&rsquo;m very confident that we can do well again. <br /><br />&ldquo;Obviously we know that we won the Euros two years ago but we&rsquo;re really focusing on this tournament now &ndash; it&rsquo;s a completely different competition so we&rsquo;re not dwelling on the past, we&rsquo;ve set new challenges and we hope to carry on playing well as we go into the semi-finals.&rdquo;<br /><br />The 19-year-old Onomah played 19 times for the first team of Spurs last term, including eight appearances off the bench in the English topflight.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : Twitter.com<br />
