Spurs Midfielder Josh Onomah Confident England Can Repeat Feat
England U19 international Josh Onomah is confident that the Young Lions can win the European Under-19 Championship in Germany, adding that they prepared well for the competition.<br /><br />The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder starred at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, helping England to win the title, and nine players that made the squad list for the tourney in Malta are in Germany.<br /><br />“Our preparation for this tournament has been right, we’ve trained together a lot and I feel like we’re really a team, ” Onomah said to tottenhamhotspur.com.<br /><br />“We’ve got a lot of winners and leaders in our group and I’m very confident that we can do well again. <br /><br />“Obviously we know that we won the Euros two years ago but we’re really focusing on this tournament now – it’s a completely different competition so we’re not dwelling on the past, we’ve set new challenges and we hope to carry on playing well as we go into the semi-finals.”<br /><br />The 19-year-old Onomah played 19 times for the first team of Spurs last term, including eight appearances off the bench in the English topflight.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : Twitter.com<br />
