Spurs Starlet Onomah Scores Again As England U19s Book Their Place In Germany
The England Under 19s have sealed their place in this summer’s European Championship following their 2-0 victory over defending champs Spain in the UEFA U19s Euros Elite Round Qualifier on Tuesday.<br /><br />Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah was included in Aidy Boothroyd’s starting XI and it took him only six minutes to grab the opener at the Estadio Municipal, Ciudad de Lepe.<br /><br />The 18-year-old Londoner also registered his name on the score sheet in the Young Lions 2-1 win over Georgia last Thursday.<br /><br />Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo started and played 60 minutes of England’s 1-1 draw with Greece on Saturday and came off the bench versus Georgia, but did not make the 18-man squad for today’s game against the Spaniards.<br /><br />The 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship will be hosted by Germany from 11–24 July 2016, with eight teams competing for the title<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com<b><br /></b><br />
