After a four-match goal drought in all competitions, Super Eagles forward Salim Fago Lawal is back maong the goals, finding the net for Viktoria Plzeň in their commanding 3–0 victory over FC Hradec Králové in the Czech First League on Sunday.
The 23-year-old attacker opened the scoring in the 44th minute, producing a superb right-footed strike from outside the box following a swift counterattack.
His clinical finish gave Plzeň a crucial lead just before halftime and set the tone for a dominant performance from the visitors.
Plzeň built on that momentum early in the second half when Cheick Souaré doubled the advantage in the 48th minute with a well-placed header.
Tomáš Ladra later sealed the comfortable victory in the 66th minute with a composed finish from inside the penalty area, ensuring the visitors returned home with all three points.
Lawal’s goal marks his second league strike since joining the Czech giants during the winter transfer window from NK Istra 1961.
