Maduka Okoye has set a personal record after producing a run of outstanding form in Serie A, recording three consecutive clean sheets for Udinese against Genoa, Como and AC Milan.

The Nigerian goalkeeper has been instrumental in Udinese’s recent defensive stability, delivering composed and confident performances that have helped his side secure valuable results.

His latest clean sheet came in a commanding 3-0 victory over AC Milan on Saturday.

Okoye’s streak began with a solid display against Genoa, where he helped his side maintain defensive discipline to secure a shutout.

He followed that up with another assured performance versus Como, showing sharp reflexes and strong command of his area to preserve Udinese’s defensive record.

The run was completed with an impressive showing against AC Milan, one of Serie A’s most formidable attacking sides, where Okoye remained alert throughout to deny the Rossoneri and secure a statement win for Udinese.

This marks the first time in Okoye’s Serie A career that he has recorded three consecutive clean sheets, highlighting a clear step forward in his development and consistency at the highest level of Italian football. 

The 26-year-old has been a regular starter for Udinese this season and has played a key role in helping the club remain competitive during a demanding campaign.

His performances have been particularly valuable in tight fixtures, where his shot-stopping ability and leadership have stood out.

Okoye’s form is even more notable given his recent return from a thigh issue that briefly affected his availability for international duty with the Super Eagles.
