Super Eagles Stars Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Iheanacho Pay Tribute To Deceased Leicester City Chairman

On Sunday, Leicester City confirmed through their official website the passing of their chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

A helicopter owned by the Thai billionaire businessman crashed following the Premier League match between the Foxes and West Ham on Saturday evening, and all five people on board the helicopter, including Srivaddhanaprabha, tragically lost their lives.

Three Nigeria internationals with close links to Leicester City, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, have paid tribute to Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Ahmed Musa released a statement via social media : ''Someone special,will Not be forgotten,wonderful memories will live on forever, Death can never take a good man away,in the hearts of people he inspired,the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations.

''He was a great man and father to many,may his soul RIP 😭💔🙏 @LCFC''.

Wilfred Ndidi, who netted the equalizer against the Hammers, wrote on Twitter : ''You were far too kind and supportive.

''Thank you for all you did for the club, for always encouraging the team and coming all the way to watch me play at the world cup. Rest on sir #theboss💔😢''.

Kelechi Iheanacho tweeted: ''May the good Lord accept your soul rest on boss 😭😭💔''.

Tuesday's first team fixture against Southampton in the League Cup and the Development Squad fixture against Feyenoord in the Premier League International Cup have been postponed.
