Tevez To Earn Four Times The Wages Of Highest Paid Nigerian Footballer

Carlos Tevez&rsquo;s move from Boca Juniors to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua is now in the bag, writes the club on its official website.<br /><br />The Argentina international will reportedly pocket &pound;32 million per season (equivalent of US$39.27 million) at Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.<br /><br />Tevez will make approximately four times more than his new strike partner, Obafemi Martins, who is the highest paid Nigerian professional footballer ahead of Chelsea&rsquo;s John Obi Mikel. <br /><br />Martins extended his contract with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua at the end of the 2016 season, and the new deal will see him pocket US$9 million next year.<br /><br />Not far behind in the list of highest paid Nigerian players is Manchester City&rsquo;s Kelechi Iheanacho, who earns 56,000 pounds every week at the Etihad outfit. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
