The much-anticipated U20 World Cup began in Poland yesterday and a record has been created already.

The 19-year-old Senegalese striker Amadou Sagna broke a 34-year-old record when he found the back of the net in just 9.6 seconds into their game against Tahiti.

The West African side went on to claim an impressive 3-0 victory over their opponents.
