Tosin Kehinde Fails To Save Man Utd XI From Defeat Against Port Vale
Manchester United XI had two players of Nigerian descent on their roster in their 4-2 loss to Port Vale in a pre-season fixture staged at Vale Park on Saturday afternoon.<br /><br />Tosin Kehinde entered into the fray in the 52nd minute following an injury to Josh Harrop, while USA youth-teamer Matthew Olosunde was introduced in the closing minutes.<br /><br />Cicilia (2), Foley and Sean Goss (OG) registered their names on the score-sheet for the homers, while Sadiq El-Fitouri and Demitri Mitchell netted for the Red Devils.<br /><br />The 18-year-old Kehinde has been outstanding for Manchester United U23s at pre-season, finding the net against Altrincham and Salford City, but could not add to his goal tally against the stronger League One opponents. <br /><br />In their next fixture, Manchester United U23s face Oldham Athletic in the Lancashire Senior Cup semi-final.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : manutd.com<br /><br />
