England midfielder of Nigerian ancestry Ross Barkley is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur&nbsp; with a view to a transfer next summer. <br /><br />According to the Telegraph, Spurs are planning a swoop for the attacking midfielder in the event that he doesn&rsquo;t extend his contract with Everton.<br /><br />Barkley, 23, has not really impressed coach Ronald Koeman, and the Dutchman left him on the bench in important matches against Manchester City and Manchester United in the Premier League.<br /><br />Liverpool-born Barkley has 18 months left on his current contract with Everton.<br /><br />He has spent the last eleven years of his career with the Goodison Park outfit, though he enjoyed loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : uefa.com<br />
