Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have taken a definitive stance on the future of Paul Onuachu ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
The Nigeria international has enjoyed a sensational campaign, registering 23 goals across all competitions to put himself in the shop window.
Following the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the FC Ebedei graduate embarked on an impressive ten-game scoring streak, which came to an end last week against Eyüpspor.
According to multiple reports in the Turkish media, including NTV Spor, Trabzonspor have now reached a final decision on Onuachu’s future amid strong interest from clubs across Europe and Saudi Arabia.
The club are unwilling to sanction his departure, with the striker under contract until 2028, including an option for a further year.
Onuachu is also reported to have turned down a lucrative proposal from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club, which would have increased his current wages fourfold.
The towering forward has been included in the Nigeria squad for their March international fixtures against Iran and Jordan, scheduled to take place in Antalya, and is expected to report for duty on Tuesday.
Onuachu, who previously featured for FC Midtjylland and Racing Genk, joined Trabzonspor on a permanent deal last summer.
